Sonochemistry, Vol. 1: Fundamentals and Evolution

This textbook gives an overview from the historical evolution of ultrasound utilization in chemistry to the various recent applications of sonochemistry. Discussed subjects are ultrasound in chemistry, materials science, environmental protection, medicine, food science and sustainable technology. nology can be applied from laboratory to large-scale processing are illustrated. It is an

sonochemistry for both biological and chemical decontamination. It also highlights
the particular advantages of sonochemistry when used in conjunction with Advanced
Oxidation Processes.
